Optimization based on movable damped wave algorithm for design of photovoltaic/ wind/ diesel/ biomass/ battery hybrid energy systems

The actual energetic situation has several challenges such as pollution, the rarefaction of fossil fuel and dangers nuclear. Renewable sources are proposed a solution suggested, cost-effectiveness system. paper deals with problem feeding domestic load electricity which should respect ecologies factors, so this work is design hybrid renewable energy systems; PV/biomass, PV/diesel/battery, PV/wind/diesel/battery, wind/diesel/battery to choose best one them feed lowest cost. study’s goal microgrid system by minimization total investment cost required technical factor, minimum allowed fraction, availability factor. methodology flowed utilizes frameworks based on recent algorithm called Movable damped wave (MDVP). optimization compared other algorithms prove its efficacy are; artificial electric field (AEFA), harris hawks (HHO), grey wolf optimizer (GWO). project case study investigated in Al-Majmaah, Saudi Arabia. contribution implementing that proves finding configuration following many investigations comparisons. results confirm MDVP better algorithms, computational time fast, convergence good; otherwise, PV/biomass considered area size 237.698 m2 from PV panel 954.097 t/year biomass, obtained Net Present Cost (NPC) $299504, (LCOE) assumed $0.228/kW.
